In-stent Restenosis: Treatment Algorithms and How to Perform DCB vs Brachytherapy

Learning Objectives:
  1. Identify the different types and underlying mechanisms of in-stent restenosis (ISR), including mechanical and biological causes, and their respective treatment algorithms.
  2. Discuss the central role of intravascular imaging techniques such as IVUS and OCT in diagnosing ISR and guiding treatment strategies.
  3. Evaluate various treatment modalities for ISR, including high-pressure ballooning, drug-coated balloons (DCB), vascular brachytherapy (VB), and plaque modification therapies, focusing on case examples on how to perform DCB and VBT.
