Coronary Artery Fistula: When and How to Treat

Learning Objectives:
  1. Identify clinical scenarios and diagnostic findings that warrant intervention for coronary artery fistulas, such as symptomatic presentation, hemodynamic compromise/abnormal non-invasive stress imaging, and/or significant shunt volume.
  2. Provide an overview of the therapeutic approaches for coronary artery fistulas including transcatheter embolization and surgical ligation.
  3. Utilize case presentations to describe the procedural techniques, patient selection criteria, and follow-up considerations involved in treating coronary artery fistulas, with the aim of optimizing patient outcomes and minimizing procedural risks.
