CASE CATEGORIES
- Interventional Cardiology Fellows Course
- Complications and Near Misses (Coronary, Structural, and Endovascular)
- Left Main, Multivessel, and Bifurcation PCI
- PCI in Acute MI and Cardiogenic Shock (AMICS)
- PCI in Calcification, ISR, and Tortuosity
- Peripheral Vascular Intervention (Aortoiliac, Fempop [including crossing and reentry], DVT/PE, Below the Knee, Acute Limb Ischemia, Renal Artery, and Carotid)
- Valvular Intervention (Mitral or TAVR)
- Vascular Access (Transradial, Transfemoral, and Alternative)
GUIDELINES
- Select a case that has a good "story" and "take-home messages." This is an interventional conference, so please truncate the history and physical examination to items that are relevant to the case.
- SELECT GOOD IMAGES (angiograms, echocardiograms) and save them in a video format that is compatible with PowerPoint.
- Use SCAI's PowerPoint Template and add slides.
- Credit yourself and your institution in the lower-right corner of each slide.
- Note that you MUST REMOVE any: Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) information.
- Use as much of the slide as possible for the video files—loops that are too small or too many on a single slide are hard to see.
- Keep the case between five to eight minutes in length.
- Finish with a few "take-home messages."
- Please do not provide literature reviews! We want to maintain a very case-based focus.
