Access to Closure-Navigating Complex Interventions

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the fundamentals of complex coronary interventions and assess indications and limitations of current treatment methods
  • Understand the advanced concepts, techniques, and treatment strategies for coronary and peripheral interventions
  • Recognize best practices in clinical decision making; including patient selection, diagnosis, and case management of arterial and venous disease
  • Identify and develop key analytical and procedural skills through in-depth case review, panel discussion, and hands-on training

This workshop will offer technical, hands on training in conjunction with didactic education from subject matter experts in radial and femoral access techniques to advance the knowledge of the Fellows.  This course will discuss the benefits and challenges of both radial and femoral access in treating complex cases from access point selection to closure.
