Staying Ahead of AI, Challenges for Generations Y and Z

Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping how interventional cardiologists learn, practice, and lead—creating unique opportunities and pressures for early- and mid‑career clinicians in Generations Y and Z. This session will examine the practical challenges of keeping pace with AI-enabled tools in the cath lab and beyond, including evolving expectations around efficiency, clinical judgment augmentation, and continuous upskilling. Faculty will discuss strategies to critically evaluate AI outputs, integrate decision support responsibly, and maintain patient-centered care amid accelerating technological change. Attendees will leave with a forward-looking framework for navigating adoption, workflow impact, and career development in an AI-influenced interventional landscape.
