Learning Objectives:
  1. Review the pros and cons of reliance on fluroscopy during LAAO (using CT to predict, matching RAO CAU and RAO CRA and AP CAU with corresponding TEE views; role of "puff" during deployment for safety; use of fluoro if ICE or TEE images are inadequate)
  2. TEE vs ICE views and PASS: describe where ICE is limited and hope to supplement if the 135 view cannot be obtained
  3. Point out practical, step by step instructions of obtaining ideal ICE views for deployment, as well as troubleshooting
Keywords: Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC) and Structural Heart Disease (SHD)
