Biographical Sketch: David Howard, Ph.D. is an associate professor of instruction in the School of Management at the University of South Florida Muma College of Business who is the Academic Director for the School of Executive Education and the Director of the Doctor of Business Administration program. His research focuses on the negative impact of technology on stress in the workplace (e.g., cyberbullying, email incivility, cybersecurity) and on the measurement and improvement of organizational culture in academic healthcare institutions. Dr. Howard co-created the AKTiVe Leadership Model - leading with authenticity, kindness, transparency, and vulnerability - for Tampa General Hospital. Additionally, he serves as an executive coach for physician leaders.
