Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Elliott is an assistant professor of medicine in the University of Minnesota Cardiovascular Division specializing in critical-care cardiology. She serves as program director for the University of Minnesota’s cardiac critical-care fellowship, an ACGME-accredited one-year program, and as associate program director for the general-cardiology fellowship. Dr. Elliott received her undergraduate degree at Texas A & M University, and her MD from the University of Texas at Houston. She next completed internal-medicine residency, cardiology fellowship, critical-care fellowship, and a T32 year at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In the fall of 2020, she joined the University of Minnesota Cardiovascular Division as a critical-care cardiologist. As a critical-care cardiologist, she participates in subspecialty guideline-writing groups with the American Heart Association and CHEST. Her primary research interests include outcomes-based projects for eCPR patients.
