Biographical Sketch: Dr. Ramesh Mazhari is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at George Washington University (GWU). She is the Program
Director for the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship and the Director of the Cardiovascular ICU at GWU, where she plays an integral role in advancing clinical care, education, and clinical research. She actively participates in national and international initiatives, registries and clinical trials with a focus on cardiogenic shock, Women's health and structural heart interventions. She participates in the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR Chest Pain-MI Registry Steering Subcommittee, NCDR Working Group, and Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention (SCAI) Education and Advocacy committees.
