Biographical Sketch: Iyad Isseh is an Advanced Heart Failure, Mechanical Circulatory Support, and Transplant Cardiologist at Inova Schar Heart and Vascular Institute in Falls Church, Virginia. He completed his training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He serves as the Associate Medical Director of the Inova LVAD Program. He is interested in Cardiogenic Shock and is a faculty member in the Inova Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and founder of the Inova Post-Cardiogenic Shock Clinic. His other interests include medical education serving as Heart Failure core faculty in the Inova Cardiology Fellowship and Assistant Professor of Medical Education at University of Virginia School of Medicine.
