Biographical Sketch: Dr. Miller is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Yale School of Medicine and the Medical Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Yale New Haven Hospital. He graduated with his Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University before completing his Internal Medicine training in the Osler Medical Service at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He then completed a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the National Institutes of Health and a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Yale University. After finishing his cardiology training, Dr. Miller received a MHS degree at Yale in the two-year National Clinician Scholars Program research fellowship. His research interests focus on the intersection of critical care and cardiovascular medicine, including the impact of respiratory failure in patients with cardiovascular disease as well as the organizational structure and delivery of care in the modern cardiac intensive care unit.
