Biographical Sketch: Professor at the University of Southern Denmark in acute heart failure and advanced hemodynamics since 2014. Consultant at the cardiac intensive care unit 2143, Department of Cardiology, Copenhagen University Hospital Rigshospitalet.
Main fields of research are cardiogenic shock, invasive hemodynamic testing, cardiovascular imaging, myocardial infarction, heart failure, valvular diseases and controlled clinical trials. Participate in several national and international research groups, have tutored 23 completed PhDs (7 as main supervisor) and currently tutor for 10 (5 as principal supervisor) PhD students at the Universities of Copenhagen and Southern Denmark
Presently I am member of the steering committee of several multicenter studies, principal investigator and sponsor of the DanGer Shock trial, DSMB member of several multicenter studies.
