Biographical Sketch: Dr. Karacsonyi is a Senior Research Scholar at the Minneapolis Heart Institute Center for Coronary Artery Disease. She graduated from the University of Szeged, Faculty of Medicine in Hungary, where she also completed training in cardiology and worked as an attending. She received a Ph.D. from the University of Szeged on New Aspects in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention of Chronic Total Occlusions in 2019. She has published several manuscripts and book chapters on complex coronary interventions (chronic total occlusion, saphenous vein graft interventions, radiation safety in the cath lab) and presented her findings at several national and international meetings.
