Biographical Sketch: Dr Ashok Seth is presently the Chairman of Fortis Escorts Heart Institute and Chairman of Cardiology Council of Fortis Group of Hospitals. He has led the field of Interventional Cardiology for last 30-years and pioneered numerous angioplasty techniques for India and Asian Pacific Region.
He has been -
* Awarded by the National Honour of Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and ‘B.C.Roy National Award’. He has also been awarded the ‘Mason Sones Award’ and MSCAI by SCAI in addition to numerous other national and international awards.
* Honoured by Doctorates from six national universities and ‘Adjunct Professorship of Cardiology’ of JN Medical College (Aligarh Muslim University) and the National Board of Examinations.
* Invited to lecture and teach complex angioplasty techniques through Live Demonstration at more than 400 national & international meetings.
He is the President of Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology.
He has more than 350-publications to his credit.
