Title
ECMO ASSISTED PRIMARY PCI in
OHCA and CARDIOGENIC SHOCK (AMICS)

Introduction
27YEARS MALE FELT INTENSE CHEST PAIN AT HOME FOLLOWED BY COLLAPSE AN HOUR LATER AT HOME. RUSHED TO ER with down time of 22minutes

Clinical Case
Brought to ER in lifeless state, ACLS resuscitation initiated, multiple DC shock given, transient ROSC for few minutes, ECG taken showed Anterior wall STEMI, further recurrent Polymorphic VT, VA ECMO initiated, Coronary angiography and Primary PCI with Bio-resorbable scaffold implant to LAD and post implant IVUS optimisation done, VA ECMO continued for 96hours and decannulated with complete recovery and survival of the patient with no neurological deficit whatsoever.

Discussion
VA ECMO provided the crucial hemodynamic and metabolic support in a prolonged Cardiac Arrest AMICS young patient allowing CHIP PCI and successful recovery of the gentleman with no neurological deficits
