Biographical Sketch: I am a cardiac intensivist at Barts Heart Centre, in London, with a clinical and research interest in cardiogenic shock. I lead the cardiogenic shock programme at Barts Health as well as the UK Cardiogenic Shock Working Group, both of which aim to improve pathways of care and outcomes of patients with cardiogenic shock. I co-chair the CSRC networks working group. My research interests are in the inflammatory responses to cardiogenic shock and processes / networks of care and their impact on clinical outcomes.
