Biographical Sketch: Dean Ferrera, D.O., FACC, FSCAI serves as Director of Cardiovascular Research for Powers Health in Munster, IN. His clinical interests include complex coronary and peripheral vascular disease interventions; management of critical limb ischemia; management of cardiogenic shock; and treatment of venous thromboembolic disease. He has served on the Quality Improvement Committee for SCAI since 2022. Dr. Ferrera completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed medical school at The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and received his undergraduate degree from Miami University. His personal interests include golf, snow-skiing, and trying to get his wife and children to enjoy the same passions.
