Approach to a Patient with Adult Congenital Heart Disease

Learning Objectives:
  1. Identify key anatomic and physiologic differences in ACHD patients that impact catheterization strategy, including prior surgeries, shunts, and conduit anatomy.
  2. Recognize procedural risks unique to the adult congenital population, such as vascular access challenges, arrhythmia susceptibility, and altered hemodynamics.
  3. Discuss pre-procedural planning and imaging strategies to optimize safety and success in complex ACHD catheterization cases.
