This hands-on course is intended for Interventional Cardiologists who would like to improve their technical skills for large bore access & closure. The agenda covers didactic topics such as safe femoral arterial and alternative access techniques and potential complications. Workshops will cover ultrasound, percutaneous axillary access and vascular closure devices. Attendees will gain a better understanding of these techniques and strategies to better enable the use of Impella hemodynamic support.
