Learning Objectives:
- Explain the advantages, limitations, and potential complications associated with crossing and reentering CTOs in the femoropopliteal arteries, including different crossing techniques such as wire escalation, parallel wire technique, subintimal angioplasty, and reentry devices, and while highlighting the importance of lesion assessment and imaging guidance.
- Explore adjunctive treatments for femoropopliteal disease in combination with endovascular interventions such as atherectomy, cutting balloon angioplasty, drug-coated balloons, and DES, as well as indications for surgery.
- Evaluate definitive treatment for femoropopliteal disease, including long-term outcomes and durability.
Keywords: Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) and Superficial Femoral Artery (SFA)
