Lunch Program 2: Contemporary Intravenous Antiplatelet Strategies in PCI

This satellite will include a focus on understanding why effective platelet inhibition is needed during PCI; reviewing current guidelines and options for antiplatelet therapy in the cath lab, and the role for intravenous platelet inhibition. Multiple cases will be presented with a focus on identifying appropriate high-risk patient characteristics, including medical history, clinical presentation, and angiographic risk factors.
