Lunch Program 2: It is 3 AM and You Are on Call
Supported by Getinge
It’s 3AM and you are the attending on-call. You are headed to the hospital to evaluate a patient. As a fellow, the medical team would look to your attending, but now it is you they turn to for important decisions. Using a case-based review, this session will discuss treatment options when mechanical circulatory support is needed with consideration given to the type of hospital you are working in and available options for escalation.
