Yazan Khatib

Biographical Sketch: Dr. Khatib is President of First Coast Cardiovascular Institute, Northeast Florida’s largest physician-led cardiovascular practice. He is a passionate endovascular specialist who is considered a pioneer and leading expert in the endovascular management of peripheral vessels and treatment modalities of vascular disease.
After graduating from Damascus University Medical Center with honors, Dr. Khatib trained at Cleveland Clinic, Loyola University-Chicago, Indiana Heart Institute, and St. Vincent Hospital (Indiana).
Along with clinical responsibilities, Dr. Khatib enjoys philanthropy. He is Co-Founder of the Save a Leg, Save a Life Foundation, Co-Founder and Current Board Member of Outpatient Endovascular Interventional Society and Past President of the AHA's First Coast Chapter.
Dr. Khatib and his family have called Jacksonville home since 2002. He thanks his wife for being patient and supportive of his long hours taking care of his patients. Away from work, Dr. Khatib likes to enjoy his family and his commitment to community.
