Biographical Sketch: Shiraz Maskatia is Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the division of Pediatric Cardiology at Stanford University Medical School. He is Associate Medical Director of Echocardiography and director of the advanced imaging fellowship. His clinical and research focus includes the use of advanced imaging modalities to optimally risk assess patients with congenital heart disease. His broad training in transthoracic, transesophageal and fetal echocardiography as well as in cross-sectional imaging such as cardiac MRI allows him to be modality agnostic when investigating cardiac pathology.
