Biographical Sketch: Thomas M Zellers MD MScMM is a pediatric interventional cardiologist and holds the title of Professor of Pediatrics, Division of Cardiology at UT Southwestern Medical School where he has worked since 1989. He completed his cardiology training at the Mayo Clinic and his interventional training at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Childrens Hospital. He started the interventional program at Childrens Health in 1991 and directed the cath lab until 2007. He has participated in14 Phase I, II and III congenital device studies, serving as the local PI or Co-PI. He is currently the local PI for the Compassion S3 trial. In addition, he served as the President of the CCISC for 10 years and currently holds some administrative roles including the Senior VP for Medical Affairs at Childrens Health in Dallas and medical director of Ambulatory Cardiology.
