Biographical Sketch: Dr. Hermiller serves as Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship, and the Structural Heart Program at St Vincent Ascension Heart Center in Indianapolis, IN. He is an assistant clinical professor at Duke University Medical Center. He is known as an interventional cardiologist, teacher and researcher. Dr. Hermiller has expertise in structural heart disease, including transcatheter mitral and tricuspid repair, aortic and pulmonic valve replacement, and LAA paravalvular leak and ASD closure. He has been a leading enroller, primary investigator, and steering committee member in many transcatheter therapy studies, including many pivotal trials of structural heart disease. He was recognized as a MSCAI by the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Hermiller was chair or co-co-chair of the SCAI scientific meetings from 2009 through 2012.  His currently holds the position of SCAI President-Elect.
