Biographical Sketch: Dr Michael Ragosta is a Professor of Medicine and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at the University of Virginia Health System. He also serves as the Program Director for the Interventional Cardiology fellowship. He has extensive experience in complex coronary artery disease interventions and structural heart intervention with special interest in clinical hemodynamics, valvular heart disease, chronic ischemic heart disease and ventricular assist devices. He has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, books and book chapters and is extensively involved in numerous clinical research projects involving coronary intervention and structural heart interventions.
