Managing the RV Today and in the Future

This symposium will provide an update on the Three-Year Outcomes from the Native Outflow Tract Early Feasibility Study.  In addition, a case-based lesson of technical considerations when planning for a challenging Melody™ TPV procedures will be provided.

The speakers are experienced in interventional and congenital cardiology, and the discussion will be a reflection on what they learned and its potential for future applicability to help the mounting challenge physicians may experience in deciding which patients are appropriate for transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement and to update the fellows on the methods for valve delivery and implantation.  The topics discussed will consist of therapy awareness for adult congenital heart disease – and the technology available today to treat CHD patients with RVOT anomalies.  Presentations will be accompanied by question and answer periods with an emphasis on audience participation.
