Biographical Sketch: I have doctorates in General Medicine from JIPMER, India and Cardiology from Mumbai University, India. I later worked as an independent consultant cardiologist in various reputed cardiac centres of India till 2015. I obtained my FRACP qualification while doing Heart Failure Fellowship in the prestigious Fiona Stanley Hospital, Western Australia. Subsequently, I did one year of structural Imaging Fellowship at Mount Hospital, Perth.   I am currently doing second year of Intervention cardiology Fellowship at The Townsville Hospital. I had published several research papers in various international journals related to different sub specialities of cardiology. I am a patent holder on one of the novel applications of FSI (Fluid Structure Interaction) in collapsible tubes and developed an innovative method of reducing no-reflow during primary angioplasty with large thrombus burden whilst I was working at CARE Hospitals, Hyderabad
