Biographical Sketch: Puja Parikh, MD, MPH, FACC, FAHA, FSCAI is Director of the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement Program at Stony Brook University Medical Center in Stony Brook, NY and Associate Professor of Medicine at Stony Brook Renaissance School of Medicine. She completed her residency and fellowship in cardiovascular disease under the Clinical Investigator Track at Stony Brook University Medical Center and pursued her training in Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Disease at NY Presbyterian-Columbia University. Dr. Parikh’s clinical practice focuses on percutaneous coronary interventions and transcatheter therapies for structural heart diseases, including transcatheter valvular interventions, closure of patent foramen ovale/atrial septal defects, and left atrial appendage occlusion. She is a principal investigator in multiple clinical research studies and has authored numerous peer reviewed scientific articles.
