Pharmacotherapy Beyond the Cath Lab
This session explores the expanding role of pharmacologic therapies in cardiovascular care beyond the procedure room. Topics include emerging treatments for lipoprotein(a), aggressive lipid lowering, inflammation modulation, and cardiometabolic agents like SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP-1 receptor agonists. Faculty will also discuss the evolving role of interventionalists in long-term medical management and team-based care.
