Biographical Sketch: Islam Elgendy, is Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky, and Medical Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the Lexington VA Medical Center. His research interest includes complex PCI, as well as pharmacological and interventional therapies for acute coronary syndrome, and cardiogenic shock. Dr. Elgendy serves on national committees through SCAI, AHA, and ACC.
