Biographical Sketch: Bill is a cardiologist at Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Charlotte, Professor of Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and the Vice President for Quality and Clinical Effectiveness across the National Service Lines at Advocate Health. He previously served over ten years as Medical Director of interventional cardiology for the Greater Charlotte Region. He trained at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. He has a master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health. He serves on the Oversight Committee of the National Cardiovascular Data Registry and participates actively in the Cardiovascular Quality Improvement and Care Innovation Consortium.
