Biographical Sketch: Dr. Stephanie Sellers is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiology at the University of British Columbia, Director of the Cardiovascular Translational Laboratory at St. Paul's Hospital at Co-Director of the Centre for Translational Science and Medtech Innovation at the Dilawri Cardiovascular Institute at Vancouver General Hospital. As a vascular biologist, her primary research focuses on understanding mechanisms of dysfunction and degeneration of bioprosthetic heart valves and imaging related to these disease processes. Her laboratory also specializes in bench testing and modeling to understand structural heart procedures.
