Biographical Sketch: Dre Forcillo is an adult cardiac surgeon who works at the University of Montreal Hospital Centre (CHUM). Her main interests are valvular heart therapies (surgical and transcatheter) and complex aortic surgery. Research is also a big part of Dr Forcillo's career. She has a master in Biomedical Sciences and a Master in Public Health. She also just graduated from a PhD in Biomedical Sciences in February 2021. Dr Forcillo is eager to participate in the development of new technologies especially heart valve and aortic endovascular therapies. She also has a special interest in women's cardiovascular health as she is one of the co-founder of the Cardio-F an integrated cardiovascular health centre which is located at the Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM) and opened in January 2021.
