Biographical Sketch: Dr. Jyotpal Singh, PhD, is a Researcher with LLA Technologies and has a background in research methodology and conducting clinical trials. He has focused on treatment of patients with heart attacks, aortic valve stenosis, and a variety of autonomic complications, including mild traumatic brain injury and long COVID. Dr. Singh has a Master of Science in Physiology, with a focus on cannabinoids to treat persistent post-concussive symptoms. He then completed a PhD with an emphasis on monitoring heart function of patients with acute and long COVID using seismocardiography (SCG). This led to over 60 peer-reviewed journal article publications with a focus on medical management of various cardiovascular disease, brain injuries, and development of advanced statistical methods. He has previously led the implementation of pragmatic-focused research for advancing provincial healthcare priorities in Saskatchewan. Recently, he has monitored progression of treatment following surgical interventions for patients with aortic valve stenosis using SCG.
