Biographical Sketch: Javier Escaned, MD, PhD is Professor of Cardiology and Head of the Interventional Cardiology Section at Hospital Clínico San Carlos and Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. He is an internationally recognized expert in coronary physiology, intracoronary imaging, and complex PCI, and has led or contributed to numerous landmark clinical trials in interventional cardiology. Dr. Escaned will present a live case transmission from Spain for SCAI 2026.
