Biographical Sketch: Mouhieddin (Dean) Traboulsi, MD, FRCPC, FACC.
Dr. Traboulsi graduated from Damascus University Medical School, Syria,
He worked in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia for two years. He completed Internal Medicine residency, Cardiology, research and Interventional Cardiology training at the University of Calgary.
Dr. Traboulsi is a Clinical Professor of Medicine, University of Calgary, a member of the Libin Cardiovascular Institute.
He was the Director of the FH Cath Lab and Interventional Cardiology for 16 years and led the Southern Alberta STEMI Program, Co-Chair for the MI Committee and Alberta Cardiac Access, which transformed care of MI patients.
Dr. Traboulsi has authored/coauthored 40 papers, 90 abstracts and participated in many national and international clinical trials.
He has been the lead and participant in medical education and missions to China, Syria, India, Trinidad and Tobago.
He served in leadership roles on local, provincial, and national committees and was President of CIAC.
