Biographical Sketch: Dr Michael Tsang is an Interventional and Critical Care Cardiologist at McMaster University. He completed his Royal College Certification of Cardiology at McMaster Cardiology in 2013, and Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at McMaster in 2015. He also completed a MSc in Health Science Education. In 2022 after 5 years of practice, he returned to complete another fellowship in Critical Care Cardiology at McMaster. He is the current Cath Lab Lead in Cardiogenic Shock and Mechanical Circulatory Support at Hamilton Health Sciences. He is leads the Cath Shock Meeting Program Advisory Committee and a member of the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress Shock Half Day planning committee. He is currently the Principle Investigator of the OPtimal TIMing of Unloading with Micro-axial Flow Pump in Infarct Related Cardiogenic Shock (OPTIMUS) Pilot Study.
