Biographical Sketch: Dr. Muenpetch Muenkaew is a consultant interventional cardiologist, catheterization laboratory director, and lecturer at Thammasat University Hospital in Thailand. He specializes in complex coronary procedures, chronic total occlusions (CTO), and intravascular imaging-guided PCI, with a strong commitment to enhancing patient care and mentoring future cardiologists.
He has completed fellowships in interventional cardiology at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University in Thailand; Osaka University Hospital in Japan; and the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois in Switzerland.
Dr. Muenkaew also serves as the Scientific Chairman of the Cardiovascular Intervention Association of Thailand (CIAT), where he supports national expert consensus development and fosters professional collaboration. Through ongoing research and active participation in international forums, he contributes to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine both in Thailand and globally.
