Biographical Sketch: Dr. Andrea Lavoie is an Interventional Cardiologist and the Division Head of Cardiology at the Regina General Hospital. She completed her medical training at the University of Saskatchewan and residency at Dalhousie University, followed by fellowships in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Calgary and Intravascular Ultrasound Research at the Cleveland Clinic. She is co-founder of Prairie Vascular Research Inc. She is the Past President of the Canadian Association of Interventional Cardiology (CAIC-ACCI). She has a clinical focus on microvascular disease and heart failure and is an advocate for women’s cardiovascular health.
