Biographical Sketch: Dr. Robert Boone is an Interventional Cardiologist and Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver and an Associate Professor at UBC having trained in Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He has an active interest in minimally invasive techniques for heart valve intervention, and has led the establishment of transcatheter mitral and tricuspid programs in British Columbia. He continues to participate, present and publish on a variety of new devices in this clinical arena.
