Biographical Sketch: Prof M G Azam, MD, FSCAI, is an interventional cardiologist with over 25years of experiences in the cathlab. Dr Azam is presently the professor of cardiology in NICVD ,Bangladesh. He led the field of interventional cardiology for last 25years and has contributed extensively for the development of many scientific programs & educations. He is the author & co-author of over 50 research articles in the field of intervention.
Dr Azam has served as scientific secretary of Bangladesh Society of Cardiac Intervention & He is the Board of Trustee of CCN University of Science & Technology. He is the course director & National organizing secretary of SCAI complex PCI in Bangladesh 2019. He is the President of Bangladesh Academy of Cardiovascular Theurapeutics .
He has received several exemplary teacher/ research awards and he is the recipient of 2019 Research Award from Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
