Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Rajesh Sachdeva is an interventional cardiologist and academic physician with extensive experience in complex coronary interventions. He serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at Emory University School of Medicine and practices at the Atlanta VA Medical Center. He also holds academic appointments at Morehouse School of Medicine and the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Sachdeva specializes in high-risk and complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), including chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions, hemodynamic-guided revascularization, and the use of mechanical circulatory support in cardiogenic shock. He is actively involved in advanced clinical programs such as CHIP (Complex, High-Risk Indicated Patients), CTO interventions, and pulmonary embolism response teams. In addition to his clinical work, he is a dedicated educator and mentor, with a strong commitment to advancing cardiovascular care and improving outcomes in complex patient populations.
