Biographical Sketch:
Dr. Samer Mansour is a Full Professor of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the Université de Montréal. He is an interventional cardiologist at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal. He is a clinical researcher and serves as Head of the Research Unit within the Division of Cardiology. He is currently a member of the Scientific Committee of the CHUM Research Centre. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Association des cardiologues du Québec and is Co-Director of the CAIC Summit. His main research interests focus on coronary artery physiology and the management of high-risk patient populations, including STEMI, chronic total occlusions, left main disease, bifurcation lesions, and multivessel coronary artery disease. He is a principal investigator and co-principal investigator in several clinical trials in cardiology and interventional cardiology. Dr. Mansour has authored five book chapters, more than 135 peer-reviewed publications, and over 350 scientific abstracts.
