Biographical Sketch: Dr Harris is an interventional pediatric cardiologist at BC Children’s Hospital where he is the Head of Interventional Cardiology, and Director of Research for the Children's Heart Centre. His research program involves evaluating minimally invasive treatment strategies for children with congenital heart disease as well as optimizing the long-term cardiovascular health of children with congenital and non-congenital heart disease. Dr Harris is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Unviersity of British Columbia and a former President of the Canadian Pediatric Cardiology Association. Dr Harris is the Editor-in-Chief of CJC Pediatric & Congenital Heart Disease.
