Biographical Sketch: Dr. Asma Khaliq works as an Interventional Cardiologist at Montefiore Medical Center. She is an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Director of Endovascular Interventions at Montefiore Medical Center. Her clinical interests include Critial Limb Ischemia/Limb Salvage, Endovascular Treatment of Complex PAD, Complex High risk Interventional coronary Procedures (CHIP), Treatment of Patient with Cardiogenic shock, Large bore aspiration/mechanical thrombectomy for massive and submassive pulmonary Embolism. Her research interests include outcomes research, and studying the gender and sex differences in diseases, therapies and outcomes.
