Dinner Program: Driving Progress in Cardiology: Exploring the Role of FXI in Acute Coronary Syndromes & Beyond (CME)

Don’t miss our satellite symposium on the potential role of factor XI inhibition in acute coronary syndrome, Afib, and secondary stroke prevention. Despite significant efforts to reduce the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in the acute coronary syndrome (ACS) setting, as well as secondary stroke prevention and prevention of ischemic stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation, patients remain at risk. In this symposium, faculty will critically evaluate the limitations of current anticoagulation strategies, discuss factor XI inhibitors, assess the latest clinical trials and research, and consider the potential role of factor XI inhibitors in thrombosis and hemostasis.
