Biographical Sketch: Dr. Harout Yacoub is a board-certified cardiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. He is also the director of advanced cardiac imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Dr. Yacoub's clinical expertise includes coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, general clinical cardiology, and preventative cardiology. As a multimodality imager, he holds board certifications in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI. Dr. Yacoub completed his residency, chief residency, and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the Hofstra Zucker School of Medicine Northwell Health Staten Island University Program. He subsequently completed an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
