Biographical Sketch: Zachary Paul Rosol, MD, FACC, FSCAI is a board-certified interventional cardiologist at Baylor University Medical Center and the Baylor Scott & White the Heart Hospital – Dallas (BSW THH – Dallas). He is also currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine for Texas A&M Health Sciences Center and the Medical Director of the ICU at BSW THH – Dallas.
His early career and research interests have been focused in three areas. Firstly, he has spearheaded the growth of pulmonary embolism (PE) management with the purpose of integrating new technology to improve patient care. Secondly he contributes to the Excellence in Peripheral Artery Disease Registry (XLPAD). Thirdly, with interests in CT coronary angiography and advanced interventional cardiology techniques Dr. Rosol seeks to discover and enact best practices to improve procedural success and patient outcomes in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD).
